Toward a New Theory of Established Adulthood

In this introduction to the special issue of Journal Adult Development on Established Adulthood, we begin by providing a brief overview conceptualization Adulthood. We then provide an each paper included in issue, highlighting how work contributes growing field established adulthood answering important questions and proposing new ones. Taken together, collection articles lay groundwork for continued theorizing research new, exciting, flourishing area developmental research.
